I would like to light a
candle in remembrance of Angel Juarbe, Jr, FDNY, Ladder 12, and post
this poem
YOU
WILL FIND ME
Gone
but not forgotten
Living
on in memory
Look
deep inside your wounded heart
And
I know that you will find me
Perhaps
just a photo
Or
my name upon your lips
Or
a song that reminds you
Of
an impossible wish
Maybe
an old story
Reminds
you of what used to be
Look
inside your heart of hearts
I
know that you will find me
Late
on a lonesome night
In
a storm of burning tears
My
face will flash before you
The
echo of my voice you will hear
Perhaps
in my brother’s eyes
Or
my mother’s soul serene
Take
a look inside your heart
And
somehow you will find me
Maybe
in the words of a prayer
Times
past will rise again
Maybe
in the glow of a memory
You
will find the strength to begin
For
I am gone, though not forgotten
When
you reminisce of what used to be
Take
a look deep inside your shattered heart
And
somewhere you will find me
Perhaps
a single photograph
Or
the sound of my name upon your lips
Just
a song that keeps reminding you
Of
that impossible, desperate wish
If
it’s an old story that reminds you
Of
all that used to be
Seek
the answer in your heart
And
I know that you will find me
In
a torrent of stinging tears
Late
on a lonesome night
Let
my face flash before you
And
together we will make things right
Maybe
you will find me in my brother’s eyes
Or
my dear mother’s soul serene
Look
inside your heart of hearts
I
promise you will find me
Gone
but not forgotten
As
long as you still believe
Seek
the answer in your heart
And
I know that you will find me
On
through a lonesome night
In
thunderstorm of tears you will see
If
you only search deep inside your heart
I
know that you will find me
Hope
they rest in peace. Always in our hearts, in our prayers. Tricinel
